DEADBOLT DOOR LOCKS

These locks are commonly found on front wooden doors of residential houses. And they are 5-pin tumbler locks. These locks are almost as easy as the camlocks and drawer locks described above. But many beginners face problems because too much pressure is being applied on the tension wrench.

The above is a right handed door, ie the door opens to the right. In left handed doors, the direction of rotation of the plug, and hence the tension wrench may be anti-clockwise. As a beginner, you should check the direction first before trying to pick. OK, here it is again, with more details:
