Nothingness

That is correct ...  Nothingness... or sometimes called Emptiness
It is the core of the being. It is pure awareness without objects.


> More evil than the devil,
> Nothing is more evil than devil

Well not really.  Emptiness is neutral.  When the first thought is born,
conceptual thinking arises... and along with it ... the notion of right and
wrong,
good and evil...

> The poor have it,
> The poor have Nothing,

Yes that is also correct. In fact everybody has it.  All forms are defined
by
emptiness..

> The rich need it,
> The rich need Nothing,

Yes, there is a tendency for the rich to have more attachments.
All the more they need to develop self-realization.

> And if you eat it, you'll die?
> And if you eat Nothing, you'll will die.

Not quite true, in fact, we are all dying.... a slow death usually,
the sickness of ageing. But for someone who has attained realization of
Emptiness, he is unmoved by birth or death, his mind is tranquil.
