Emptiness

No, no, no....

Emptiness is not absence of objects.
It is awareness without objects.  

Below is an exercise which I created and which i call

Observer Regression Exercise


I see a pencil and I ask "Who is seeing
Then, go back one step and ask: "Who is asking?"
Then, go back yet again another step and ask: "Who is thinking?"
.
.
"I" am thinking.
.
.
And so on and so forth until you reach the final question: "What is aware of
I?"
.
.
.
And your inevitable conclusion is:   Nothing... just pure awareness ...
which is......Empty

Now, that is what Emptiness means.

It is wrong to say Life is Empty.  Pure Awareness is Empty.  That is why it
is capable of forming concepts.

The World - after all - is conceptual... Chairs, tables,
color, language, etc.... all do not really exists.
They are all objects which we, as humans, agree to call Chairs, tables,
blue, green, whatever, so that we can communicate  with each other and also
manipulate  Reality for the benefit of mankind, eg, technology, medicine,
progress, etc...

Reality as we know it, is consensual, just like money is consensual value,
money is valuable only because everybody, by agreement (consensus) agree to
treat it as having value.

But in reality, there is no such thing as a chair, or table or whatever.

The Pure Awareness which is seeing all this creates the ideas.  Therefore,
objects are created out of Emptiness.

Emptiness =  Pure Awareness

Pure Awareness Creates the World
